How much experience do ERRADICAT's technicians have?
Our technicians bring 15 years of experience in wood treatment, active since 2011: farmhouses in the Empordà, period buildings, homeowner communities and homes with damaged floor structures across Barcelona and Girona. Hundreds of inspections and treatments behind them, and the same hands from the first visit to the close of the guarantee.
ERRADICAT concentrates that track record under one unchanging rule: whoever inspects is whoever treats and whoever returns for the check. No salespeople, no subcontracting and no diagnoses over the phone. Floor plan in hand, method decided on the wood itself and a signed guarantee.
We cover the eight usual pest-control services, and the specialisation is in wood: it is where diagnosis is hard, where mistakes are expensive and where the difference between a technician and a sprayer shows most. That is where the training, the equipment and the investment go.
The papers we work with
Everything on this list can be checked. There is no reason for a client to trust a claim on a website they cannot verify.
Registered with the ROESP
ERRADICAT is registered with the ROESP, the Spanish official register of pesticide establishments and services, which is what legally enables a company to apply professional-use biocides. It can be verified in the register of the Generalitat.
Valid biocide applicator licence
The treatment is carried out by technicians holding a valid applicator licence. Nothing is subcontracted: whoever inspects is whoever treats, and whoever comes back for the check.
Authorised TP8 biocides
TP8 wood preservatives authorised by the Spanish Ministry of Health under Regulation (EU) 528/2012, with the safety data sheet available to the client.
Written guarantee
The guarantee is signed in the closing document, with its scope and its start date. For termites it is 3 years from the eradication of the nest, with an annual inspection at no cost. For woodworm, longhorn beetle and the other pests we treat, it also goes in writing.
Report and floor plan of every case
Every intervention is documented with a floor plan of the property, the issues marked and the level of damage. It is the document that works with the architect, the insurer or the homeowners' association.
Traceability of the checks
In bait treatments the consumption of every station is recorded at every visit. That record is what makes it possible to say with confidence whether the colony is still active or the case can be closed.
How we work the wood
Three different methods for three different problems. The diagnosis decides which one, and the diagnosis comes before the quote, never after.
Termites: the bait system
Diagnosis with audiotermes, bait stations indoors and around the perimeter, and checks every 6 to 8 weeks until the colony is exhausted. The treatment takes between 6 and 12 months depending on the size of the nest. That is the real timescale, not a sales estimate.

Non-return valves along the beam, pressure injection until the product reaches the internal galleries and two coats of fumigation, with a full clean of the room. On furniture and valuable pieces we work by anoxia, without injecting the wood.

Before treating varnished wood the pore has to be opened. We strip on site by blasting soft abrasives at adjustable pressure, and also with any other method the client prefers, manual or chemical. Without dismantling the structure.

What we sign and promise
We sign the guarantee, the scope of the treatment and the date it runs from. For termites it is 3 years from the eradication of the nest, with an annual inspection at no cost within that period. For woodworm, longhorn beetle and the other pests we treat, the guarantee also goes in writing over the treated elements.
We promise real timescales and we keep them. The bait system eliminates the whole colony, not just what shows, and its full cycle runs 6 to 12 months with the checks included: working on the insect's cycle is exactly what lets us sign a 3 year guarantee afterwards.
And we promise a serious quote: a free visual inspection and, when needed, a technical study with its own quote that includes the beam-by-beam measurement, the floor plan of the property and the report with the exact scope before giving a figure. That way the quote is a signed commitment, not a number in the air.
